Welcome to Optical Works Eyewear! Our shop is located in Russian Hill and word on the street is that we have the most unusual collection of eyewear you will find anywhere! At least that’s what our clients tell us. We carry pieces ranging from couture and vintage to very edgy contemporary styles, in addition to handmade horn frames that are stunning.
We also offer a full range of services such as filling custom Rx, eyeglass repair, adjustments & more! We offer the very best lens technology available from brands such as Zeiss, Hoya, Transitions, Varilux and Crizal. We also sell non-Rx sunglasses. About our store owner, Marcie Patten
Marcie is an eyewear industry veteran with over 25 years experience. She started her career in Chattanooga, TN and at age 21, became one of the youngest licensed opticians in the state. She joined LensCrafters during their rapid expansion and relocated to the SF Bay Area. She held various management positions at LensCrafters and won numerous awards in operational excellence and legendary customer service.
She was inducted into the elite President’s Club for receiving 42 unsolicited letters of appreciation from her customers. Marcie was Optical Manager for Peninsula Ophthalmology Group in Burlingame until December 2014. The opportunity to own her own optical business became reality in January 2015 when she became the Owner/Operator of Optical Works Eyewear!
